ABOUT US

Since our inception in 2011, we have always had the goal of showcasing the best unheard musical talent on the indie scene. On August 20th of 2011, inDspotlight Radio premiered as a weekly radio program, within a year it grew to National syndication. So with that, inDspotlight Productions was born. Our broadcast channel, inDtv | inDspotlight Television®, expanded our indie scene coverage, with original programming, red carpets, concerts, award shows, indie filmmakers and more. We continued the independent minded thinking into the world of sports, with our show SportSpeak giving fans a chance to truly get into the conversation and speak on their favorite hometown teams.

In October 2014, inDspotlight Radio evolved from a weekly radio program to its own station on the Mixlr platform as well as international syndication on indie radio stations such as KGUP Emerge Radio, RadioBuzzD, World Wide Indie Radio and Lucky Star Radio. This new beginning begat a rebranding for us, as we expanded our focus and goal to the production company "Bringing you what's TRULY NEW in Indie Entertainment".

August 2018, inDtv | inDspotlight Television® was official made a broadcast streaming/television channel on Universe Network. Showcasing the world of indie entertainment on Ch 140 available via Roku, App Store or Google Play.

We focus putting an indie spotlight on the world of independent entertainment, from music to film to web series, live concerts, original programming and more it's

Only son and first born of 3 children to Dr. Gibril (PhD) & Kadi Cole, H.R. along with his two younger sisters, are first generation US born kids to their grade school sweetheart parents from Sierra Leone, West Africa.

His love of music stems from home, as his father, who was a DJ in his youth, would use the weekends to play records dating back as far as the 1960s. This exposure to what is now referred to as "Old School" hits, spans a variety of genres: from both African/Island Reggae, to Classic Motown (R&B), to Generational Pop, to Classic Rock and everything in between. This melting pot of genres is what makes H.R.'s taste in music an eclectic one, which is why the music inDspotlight™ features artists in Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz & Spoken Word.

H.R. was a "band geek" for his entire high school career (Mid/Jr. High & High School) as a Tuba/Sousaphone player. He marched and competed as a 4-year member of the 25-Consecutive Time LAUSD Championship Band & Color Guard of Los Angeles Senior High School, directed by Mrs. Darnella Davidson.

H.R. Cole's dream is to ideally to be a Game Show Host. He states, "growing up, during sick days and school break, I would watch game shows from 9am to around 3pm." Having been on 5 game shows, calling himself the "perennial runner-up", he would like to realize a childhood dream and be on the other side of the mic. "What other job can you have fun with a stranger, playing games and possibly change their life for the better? I guess you can say I'm a game show geek."

H.R. Cole is now living the dream as since 2011 his hosting journey has led him to all facets of production both with opportunity of growth both in front of an behind the camera. He currently resides as Host/Executive Producer of the indie entertainment news magazine show entitled inD Films Monthly™ (filmed on location from the TCL Chinese Theatre) currently streaming on his company's inDtv | inDspotlight Television® channel on Universe Network TV | Ch 140 (Roku, App Store, Google Play &Apple TV). He is the official media host for the HollyShorts Film Festival. He was the Official Host of the Artists in Music Awards (Season 4) after 2 years working as the official Red Carpet and After Party Host, former Host of the Welcome2Music TV channel on YouTube as well as the 2013 #BurnItDown, We Care Potpourri Night Fashion Show/Charity & CPC Concert 4 A Cause Events. Most recently, he was the spotlight reporter for the Music TV series Platinum Drop. With all of this, in addition to his former radio programs inDspotlight Countdown™: Top 20 Weekly Indie Music Countdown & SportSpeak™, H.R. has established inDspotlight Productions LLC in 2011 named after his award-winning radio series, putting all of his programming under one umbrella, in the hopes of bringing some great programming from independent artists of all genres in media. As his company's flagship series inD Films Monthly™ grows, the return of the inDspotlight Countdown™ w/ H.R. Cole now as an indie music video series, and being slated to produce a few independent online series, H.R. is doing more than he ever expected. And this is only the beginning... now he's ready to Welcome HIS...FIRST...CONTESTANT!!! GAME ON!

BIO COMING SOON

Geo Washington

Host

Gilmara G. Washington (or as all of her friends know her as the infamous “Geo”) was born in the small town of Lakewood, NJ not long after her parents migrated to the U.S from Panama. Geo grew up in various towns of Ocean County, NJ ultimately graduating from Lakewood, High School. Geo then moved to Ewing, NJ where she attended and graduated from The College of NJ with a B.A. degree in Communication and Television Production. After interning and working on a few talk shows in New York City for several months out of college she decided she wanted to travel the world and became an international flight attendant for a major airline where she is still currently employed today.

Working behind the scenes in the world of entertainment had always been a life long dream for Geo so after flying the friendly skies for several years she decided to return back to her passion. She produced and hosted a documentary for a non-profit organization called Vital Seeds while traveling to Ethiopia on a volunteering assignment. She also enrolled herself in a Digital Video certification program at NYU in New York City where she created the idea for a travel segment called “Geo Reveals.” Although the segment was originally intended for an airline series, Geo has since then, decided to turn it into a web series, which is currently in development.

Geo moved to Los Angeles a little over three years ago after she decided she wanted to pursue a career in TV Hosting. She is on the move continuing to pursue her passions currently a co-host on inD Films Monthly and more to come.

Crystal Correa

Actor | Writer | Director

As a kid in a hyper-portable military Puerto Rican family, she relied on storytelling and reinvention to keep herself entertained. When she worked on a movie set for the first time, the familiar craziness of production calmed her, and reignited her childhood obsessions.

Crystal the Webseries, her production company’s debut project, is part-love letter, part-heinous reminder of her painfully ridiculous twenties. It had a three year festival run and was screened at the HollyShorts Film Festival , HBO’s NYLFF and Seoul Webfest just to name a few.
